THE MECHANISM OF EXFOLIATION
CONTROLLED CHEMICAL RENEWAL.
The Skin Renewal Peel is a versatile resurfacing protocol that utilises a bespoke blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs). Unlike high-street exfoliants, this medical-grade peel operates at a specific pH to penetrate the stratum corneum safely and effectively.
By dissolving the "glue" that holds devitalised cells to the surface, the treatment forces the skin to regenerate from the basal layer. This process is highly effective for correcting uneven skin tone, minor congestion, and superficial fine lines.
For patients seeking an intensified result, we offer a Medical Dermaplaning Add-on. By manually removing the vellus hair and "barrier" of dead skin cells prior to the peel, we allow the acid solution to penetrate more deeply and evenly, resulting in a significantly smoother, high-clarity finish.

Treatment Time.
45 Minutes (60 Minutes with Dermaplaning).

Downtime.
Minimal; slight pinkness for 12 hours. Potential for mild flaking on days 3–5.

Pain Level.
Minimal; patients may experience a temporary tingling or "spicy" sensation.

Suitability.
Ideal for dullness, congestion, and early signs of ageing. Suitable for most skin types.

Recommended Sessions.
A standalone refresh or a course of 4–6 for cumulative structural improvement.

Time Until Results.
Immediate "clinical glow"; skin clarity continues to improve over 7–10 days.
At Skin Nova Medical, your peel is selected based on a clinical analysis of your skin’s lipid barrier. Because medical peels increase photosensitivity, your commitment to post-treatment UV protection is non-negotiable for the safety of your results.
PATIENT GOVERNANCE
SAFETY + CLINICAL INTEGRITY.
Every resurfacing protocol is underpinned by rigorous medical standards to ensure the safety, efficacy, and longevity of your results.
